i noticed the trunk door...

my retired e53 never did this. i noticed when i close the trunk door (gently), it will mechanically tighten itself to close properly. i guess there's a motor in there? cool feature...!

I believe the facelifted E53 2004-2006 had this feature. It is one of those neat features.

My Mother's 1987 Fleetwood Brougham does this as well!

LOL ok. hmmm.. somehow the 2003 e53 didn't have it.

My guess it wasnt designed in Detroit, that is why....

the 06 has it, and it works better than the 08 IMO. and the 1977 Caddy's also had it.
