Thumbs up Laser Interceptor Install on E70!

I installed the Laser Interceptor on my X5 today. I know a few people have this on here and some were interested. I will get some daytime pictures up tomorrow.
It is the Quad sensor set.
Let me know what you think.

I got the highest model. It came to about $3000. They have cheaper models though.

I wonder why you need sensors at the back of the car?
anyway, these things are illegal here in Belgium, you can have your car repossessed when busted...

Looks good. Make sure the heads are level. I assume you cut out the mesh grill on the front a bit? Also how did you run the wires for the rear sensors?

I have to check it again tomorrow to make sure its level, but it was when installed. I didn't do it myself, but the dealer that did it mounted the control unit under the seat. With the control unit there, they were able to get power from the lighter in the console, mount the button where it is, and run the wires easily. All I know is they took it from under the driver seat to the left of the car then to the rear. When are you panning on getting it?

Also, do you have a radar jammer because that next on my list.

On/Off switch

Nice install however, your on/off switch is upside down.
I know, it's your preference..

I didn't know it was upside down. I'm to lazy to switch it around so its fine the way it is. How do you know the LED goes at the top? In your install you had mentioned something similar to "notice how I did it so the LED is at the top".

No I do not have a radar jammer. they are illegal almost everywhere. There is only one that I am aware of that works, but will cost a lot of dough. Most claim to jam radar but can't prove it.

You mind saying which radar jammer you are talking about? I am considering one if they are stealth.
