Did you solder the resistor onto the bulb or put it inline somewhere in the circuit?

Looks great, I also got the same LEDs from autollumination (they are definitely much brighter than any others I have seen) and the resistors from the shack. Haven't installed the resistors yet so its throwing up the annoying error in the dash, though it goes away except for the exclamation in the tach. area.

I will appreciate if you can take pictures of how you installed the resistors, they are too big to go inside the housing, and I am concerned if I install them outside, they might get too hot and burn something.

I'll try and take pictures tonight of how they sit inside the housing. What I do need to let you know is that the metal covering is no longer used. However, I have it neatly tucked into the plastic housing, just along side and slightly above the bulb. There was no soldering involved. The resistor arms snake neatly through each clamp, as there's a hole in each to slide each arm through. I then used needle nose pliers to tuck them away and to make sure they didn't touch each other or the metal housing, inside the plastic casing.

It will make a lot more sense when I take pictures and when you open these up and see for yourself.

The resistors are key. I can't go with any error messages. That is too annoying. I need it to be perfect. As for the heating of the resistors, I have never had any issues with my E60's and I've had these LED License Plate bulbs on my cars for 3 years now.

You get 2 bulbs in each set. So one pair. That's right, $15.98 for both bulbs. Not bad, right?

I just got home from work and am a little tired. Plus, the car is really dirty. After I wash the car, I'll disassemble the lights again and show you what the inside looks like. The problem is, I have to not only take off the License plate, but I have to remove the mounting bracket too, behind the plate.

are the angel eyes white ?? i see them like the stock ones ! and are they clear on the DT running lights ? bright enough like the stock ones ?

Yep. They sure are white and they are clear as day, during the day. They are perfect.
