Barry, the chances of an E70 hitch fitting on the E53 are next to none. They're completely unrelated vehicles minus the X5 badge.

This is essentially the exact same vehicle I'm picking up this Saturday. I can't wait! My first BMW. I never thought I'd be a fan of the aluminum trim, but in the X5 cabin it is stunning with the black leather.

that the new iDrive nav like i saw on the 3 series diesel? or just a split screen view on the old?

I've finally got the 214's on there now with the wheel arch extensions. Just need to get around to snapping a few pics. All my mods are complete now .... well, 'till next time ;-)

Yeah, heard Elle hooked you up on the wheels/extensions. Did the square exhaust tips a couple weeks ago now looking to wheels as well. Still deciding on the 214's or the 227M's.

Awesome. Glad to hear you did the square exhaust tips too.

BTW ... another good one for the hot seattle summer, well right now at least ;-) ... is the rear window blind. Covers rear window and small side windows. Matches the blinds in the rear window. Its very good for my dog back there.

Are the blinds an aftermarket OEM BMW part? Havent seen anything like that. My dog probably would also apprecitate it :-)
