REMOTE START AVAILABILITY?

Thank you JCL for stating the obvious to others. Everyone has been posting answers to questions I did not ask. I don't think a remote start exists yet, but perhaps an after market company will produce something shortly.

I don't believe there is a specific kit for the E70. If you are set on doing it (you appear to know about how it isn't good for the engine, but that is your call), it is all about finding an experienced installer who has done it on late model BMWs. Whether they use a spare key under the dash, or some way of bypassing the immobilizer, it is possible. It isn't always trouble-free.
