Just be sure it really is "the same" service. My Mother had "the same as AAA" service with a monthly charge on her cell phone. When she had a problem, it took 6 calls and seven hours before they actually got a tow truck to her. I've found, in the past, that AAA has the best coverage and service when you need it.

My insurance company includes free roadside assistance (up to $50 value).
You pay the the bill and the insurance will reimburse you back that cost. The other thing is if you change your tires to non-RFTs, BMW roadside assistance will not be free (they will charge you) if it is related to tire issue. Kinda ironic, if you have RFTs why do you need BMW roadside assistance if related to tires...?

AAA has different plans available. The one I have with AAA (AAA Plus RV) provides up to 100 miles of towing to your destination of choice.
