Traded E53 for an E70 (pics)

I'm still very new to this forum and completely new to the E70.

Here is my old E53. She's Gone. I miss her.
I did manage to do some basic work on it thanks to this forum (pixel fix, replace sway bars, final stage resistor replaced). Thanks guys....and gals !!

Here is my new one. She's great!
Didn't like the colour at first but it's growing on me.

Welcome to the club. I too made the move from E53 to E70. I don't think you'll miss your E53 for long. What do you think of the difference in handling?

Congrats.

Thanks. This forum is great.

I haven't had chance to drive the new car much but it feels more solid an smoother than the old. I guess that's expected as there is a five year difference between the cars.
The RFTs seem to me to give a slightly harder ride but I guess you get used to that. The old car had Diamaris tyres on it which were great.
The steering feels firmer but I like it.
Sat Navs wonderfull. The Tom Tom stuck on the windscreen of the old car used to fly off every trime I went round a corner. I wont miss that!

Thanks guys.

I did like the old E53. I did briefly consider ( very briefly) the Audi Q7 and the Merc ML....but nothing beats the X5.

I really like this color
I ordered mine in this color too but the misses made me change it...
You hardly ever see an X5 in this color so it's quite exclusive
I've been told that only a handfull has been sold so far here in Belgium
