Auto-dimming mirrors are extremely expensive. When I bought the European-spec wide-angle mirror for my mom's 325i, I could only afford the non-dimming one (€78-ish) because a dimming one for the E9x/E87 costs upwards of €230 each, and the one for an E70 costs €253! However, the connectors for the auto-dimming and plain heated mirrors are probably different. I lost both the heat and auto-dimming capabilities in the E90.

What is broken, the mirror glass itself? My mirror hit a parked truck mirror when I got squeezed into it and it knocked the mirror loose. thought it was broken but when I took it apart the mirror had just come loose from it's connection. Pressed back together and no problems since. Just wanted to make sure it was broken.
If so realoem is you best bet I'd think unless you could find a wrecked one. Jeff
