Car was serviced and of course they couldn't duplicate the rattling noise. They checked all clips and screws securing door panel lets see what happens!

squeaking sound gone, bmw service installed a teflon tape as per SIB 51 28 10.
they also adjusted the upper and lower rear hatch latches to provide secure fit.

where did they place the teflon tape? Seems like such an easy mcgyver-ish fix, I would like to try it.

around the upper door openings on the body of the car from front to rear where the felt and the weather strip of the door frame rubs and touches.

I'm still hearing the rattle at idle wtf!! When I hold the door handle it stops. Going to take it back to stealership
