The plot is nearly non existent. The characters are one dimensional. But it does have some useful info and doubles as a reasonable substitute for sleeping pills. or was that the beer you consumed to console yourself -- again?

In desperation, you resort to downloading and viewing those cheesy owners manual mini-videos on the BMW NA site. So how hard would it have been for them to give each video a unique/descriptive name - DUH. Not to worry, renaming them will kill some quality time while you wait for your X5's now painted (and fully dried/hardened) body shell to fall off the stacker onto the assembly line.

Geez I hope you aren't leasing it--I can't imagine the separation anxiety you will get .

Funf, I think my new X5d is one day ahead of yours in the factory. It's supposed to be completed tomorrow but my SA told me not to expect it to arrive here (in Oregon) till the start of Sept. It's killing me that my completed auto will be sitting in South Carolina for a month waiting for its' trip out west!

Leasing is so non-committal. How could we ever do that to an X5?

BTW my wife literally cried after the tow truck hauled her totaled 2001 X5 up our driveway. This was several days after the accident. She took pictures of her X5 until it got out of sight.

FWIW We have purchased roughly 2 vehicles every decade for the last 5 decades. We still own three of them (one each from the late 60's, 70's and 80's). This will be the 3rd BMW that we had built to our specs. Unless this one is a serioius lemon or it gets totaled (like the last X5) it will probably be the last car we purchase - ever. So it's not just a car to us.

So you're the problem

Hopefully, there will be an earlier truck headed to the great Northwest. Maybe one that is headed through Texas this week so it can drop off mine before it drops off yours

so recognizable...
but I guess it's only funny when it's not happening to yourself...
most of us have been there so we know what it's like
(mental picture: some kid drooling in front of the shopwindow, looking at model trains and other stuff...)
the joy will be upon you once you get a hold of the keys...

It was a joke, hence the winking smiley face.

Good luck with the new X!

So you get to go through the anxiety of watching the status changes every 2-3 years.
