Congrats on taking delivery - the condensation will go away right?

The condensation will go away, but will return every time it rains or when we wash it. The problem should be covered under warranty anyway, just a little frustrating.

We're taking it back in a few moments. Paul Miller doesn't have any "extra" loaner vehicles right now, so we're forced to take both X5's there.

Edit: Well, we're back with both X5's.... Why? Well....our salesman came out and greeted us qt the service area to tell us that the condensation isn't a problem and that he talked to a technician about that. It is that the vehicle takes in air for the lights and that water is normal. Common sense tells me that is total BS. Got to take some more action now...

I think the condensation is acceptable given the weather today. Relatively hot and humid after it being much cooler overnight. Mine looked a little hazy today.

Well, I've been talking to Weasel about this and he did say that some condensation is normal. He did add that our case was a little excessive, so I guess we'll be taking it to Morristown BMW this time to see what they say. Weasel did have a great idea of bringing the X5 over on a rainy day and comparing the haze with other X5's on the lot. Thanks a bunch!

The condensation is normal, there was a TSB. I have it in my E90, and it goes away when you turn on the headlight.

Our condensation didn't go away after a 25 minute drive to Paul Miller. When we pulled up to the service area and stepped out, there was still 1 inch of condensation of the bottom of both headlights. This was with the Xenon lights on.

If you're in the area, try Park Ave BMW. I've had nothing but a good experience there.
