Why not go for the Performance Center Delivery then?

Congrats. It gets rather hot in the summer and rather cold in the winter in NJ so if you want those multi-contour seats I'd also get the ZAV...

We decided against the ZAV because my wife eats in the car and we do not want crumbs to get in the seats via the perforations. Long story short, we are getting the 456s ...

We have PCD date of 4 Nov ... Maybe we'll see one of you there.

Congratulations on the 35d. I've been driving mine now for almost 5-months, and aside from a few minor issues I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Congrats!

We also thought about ZAV, but my mother and I never complain about sweaty butts or having sore butts after long car rides. My dad complains about this, but he isn't the primary driver, so we decided not to get this $2100 option.

When did you place your order?

I placed mine on 8/31/09 and still no production date.

I have a 2010 x5 35d on order as well. I'm curious about the PDC option. Is it the net of it that it's at no cost, it avoids the $825 destination fee, but then I need to ship the car on my own dime? I live in southern CA, so the shipping won't be insignificant (probably $1200-$1500), but the PDC might be kind of cool. At PDC, do we get to drive among a fleet of cars? I'd rather not flog my new car until fully broken in.
