Quite possible, but I wouldn't think that a 1 mpg decline would drop the credit 50%, and I can't imagine they'd drop it by 2 mpg.

It would explain the delay however, if they were arguing/negotiating with the EPA.

Still, I think a web mistake is the most likely explanation, especially since the Website X5 2010 specifications still show the same 26 mpg hwy for the X5 diesel.

Those who were still thinking about facelift on 2010 should know that bMW always does a press release on facelift at least 3-4 months before the car is in showrooms.
