Calibrating driver's seat!

Let me just start by saying that, for no good reason, my battery just died, and i could not start the car.

After an hour of waiting finally jump started the car, and i got tons of messages as usual. All of them went away, except this message, calibrat drivers seat.

After going by the owners manual procedure for about 100 times, the message is still on.

Any of you had anything similar? I gave up for the night, and i'am hoping the message is gone in the morning which i doubt.

I'am starting to be really pissed about this car, these little annoying things add up and makes me wanna dump this thing for real.

Adjust the seat all the way back and then all the way forward. After that, adjust it as high as it will go then as low as it should go. Set it to your usual position and the message should be gone.

Thats not what the manual says, but i will do it anyway.

When you say set it to your usual position, you mean just press the memory key, or reset it from the very beginning?

Set your preferred setting from the beginning.

I know this is an old post, but for the life of me, I cannot get my front seat to calibrate.
I get this message in the control center and I have tried moving the seat all the way forward, then all the way back, then up and down....NOTHING!! @#$%^&*()

Anyone know of any trick to get this done?? Seat works fine, why the hell do I need to calibrate anything is beyond me.!!

I know it's an old post but were you able to fix the seat calibration issue?

I am having the same issue. The last time I was at the dealership I asked them to take a look at it (and an issue with front windows auto up) and they said it would require the computer to be reset... Does anyone know of a way to do this without paying out the wazoo to the dealership? I tried unplugging the battery for 30 mins to no avail.
