I never wanted it in the first place.. mainly because my bro is not too happy with it on his 2008 X5... he says it takes too long for the iDrive system to boot if he uses CA vs opening the car using the key 15 seconds ahead of time.

now that this problem is solved with the new iDrive, i dont mind having it.. but it's ok.. $1000 richer is good too

I don't get the issue with the iDrive booting up. What's the big deal that you have to wait 15 seconds for the radio to come on? By the time I put my pocketbook in the back seat and put on my seatbelt, I'm good to go.

I like that I can just have the key in my pocketbook and never have to go searching for it. It's great after shopping when my hands are full

Makes sense, but not everyone uses a pocketbook vs. a pocket.


I suspect if I kept my keys in a pocketbook, I would find more utility in the Comfort Access.
