Pardon my ignorance, but what's a BGE mirror setting? I think that a blind spot warning indicator would be very useful because although I'm not that old, my back isn't always in great working condition, so it can be difficult turn enough to see if someone is in the blind spot. Also, I find the center pillar to be very wide and sometimes difficult to see around. I think the technology is a very useful tool.

As for the backup camera, after backing into an old Toyota Tercel that was so close to my first X5 (2001) bumper that I could not see it in my mirrors, I vowed never to have a vehicle again that didn't have one. I think they're great.
