I really, really really like that combo.

And the 214's. I'm still not a fan of the no-roof rails but to each their own.

Nice X

NewGTguy,
I was able to modify a car "on order" on 12/18. Should see my 35d by 1/18, good luck!

Perfect color combo

Love the color and 214's. I have the same winter set on my '10 3.5d.

For me, if I could only buy one option it would always be the comfort seats. The best auto seats in the world IMHO. I've been thinking about buying a used one to convert to an office chair.

nice color, smart move to take the comfort seats...
my sport seat left cushion just got separated again, the stiches are too close and they brake, they already have repaired them summarly without long term effect, but I like my sport seat, but not the fabrication....

Plus my average gas mileage thus far has been around 28 MPG. The comfort seats were a last minute add, but one of the best decisions ever. My first Mods are already underway. I picked up a set of 214 Reps that are undistinguishable from the real ones. I went with 9.5's all the way around and 275 tires so I wouldn't have any issues with the car wash verses the staggered setup. I also picked up a set of Pirelli ice and snows for winter driving. I also paid a visit to the tint shop for the front and rear windows. Lastly I installed a set of H8 Angel Eyes. Next up is Mud Flaps, Weathertech Digital Fit Package and Video in Motion all on order. More Mods on the way, I'll keep everyone posted. Pictures and Specs are below:

2010 X5 35D
Exterior Color: Titanium Silver
Interior Color: Saddle Brown
Premium Package
Technology Package
Cold Weather Package
Rear Climate Package
Comfort Seats Package
Space-saver Spare
iPod Connectivity
Do the 275s extend beyond the non-20" rear fenders like the 315s do? Would you mind posting a pic? I think this is a great way to go and you probably don't need to install the flares.

It may even be a good (better?) performance option because it could help balance out the handling. I'm sure there is already a tendency for understeer that is only enhanced by staggered tires.

Hey car looks awesome, will def be ordering comfort seats on my next x5. I noticed you bought your x5 at towne. I live in the buffalo area but leased from holtz in Rochester. Any particular reason you went with Towne? Better price I assume? The only reason I ask is my lease expires in the spring and I may switch dealers.

No you don't need the flares (assuming you're running a front 10" wheel and not the 11" oem rear), the 275/40's fill the wheel well perfectly on the rear wheels. Definitely do not need the flares with the 275/40's. In fact I have the 275/40 winter set on my sport 4.8i that does have the flares and had to add 30mm spacers to restore the factory look (without the spacers the rear wheels were set too far back).
