Why can't we use more than 5% biodiesel in the X5s? The reason I ask is because I live in hippietown Seattle and there are biodiesel stations around.

Good luck and congratulations!

Best reason? Because it will result in no warranty coverage if you have engine problems.

Other reasons: Biodiesel allows higher wear of parts within the fuel injection system.

do you mean that _some_ types of fuel hoses deteriorate fairly quickly when used for biodiesel?

They told me at the performance center to keep it under 100 mph and 3500 rpms, and vary the rpms. The 100 mph wasn't hard, the rpms was tough.

Congrats, let the driving begin.

Here are pictures

Took delivery today. Surprisingly I withstood from signing up for all other additional warranties and coverages. The dealership was 70 miles away and was windy. I could feel the wobble during gusts more compared to my 3. But again it is big surface area cutting through. Diesel clutter did not bother me. Sport steering wheel is awesome. Anyone looking for BMW in South Florida I recommend Coggin BMW in treasure coast. Ask for Jeff Lehar. Yes, let the driving begin. I have already put 150 miles today.

Here are some pictures, take a look.
