Want to see what a Roots blower is capable of? Go to your local Cadillac dealer and test drive an 09-10 CTS-V! If that doesn't make you a believer, than there's NO hope for you!
Does that CTS have the typical Cadillac vinyl roof, too ?

I agree on the depreciation, but as for reliability, I wouldn't give BMW very high marks.

I've had my e53 for 9 years (in about 2 weeks) and it's been a tank. Any reliability list that gets put out and LR is way far down compared to BMW.

If your seriously concerned with smoking range rovers go with the x5m. Maybe even have it tuned....I wonder what if any improvement in the already stellar 0-60 time could be had for say 20k. Comparing the full size rr and the x5 is apples and oranges. If you want performance get the x5 if you only require straight line pull but your taste emphasizes utility and luxury go with the RR SC autobio or whatever. Either way you will be a happy man as you do not strike me as the individual concerned with out of warranty service cost And btw forget that rr sport its a hunk of trash. I test drove the face-lifted model as soon as it came out...thinking I would like it better than I did in 07...nope. Cockpit feels cramped which is not the case with the full size range and the seats are no where near as supportive as bmw's..also I have become way accustomed to my panoramic sunroof

I couldn't agree more. And I have a BMW, so when I feel drivng with the Pano roof, I have that option

Hummm... and here I thought the message I was responding to was talking about Cadillac reliability....

If you want to talk about LR reliability, I would agree that it is worse than BMW.

OK I'm confused here...how did you know it was a 2010 model when the new ones only have minor changes from the previous 390 hp supercharged version?

And...it was a 1/4 mile ahead of you after you covered 1/4 mile plus a 1 second pause...are you sure 'bout that? You're basically saying the RR Sport SC covers 1/2 mile in under 16 seconds...it doesn't. That would make it faster than a Bugatti Veyon...it isn't. It has a lot of power but it's heavy at 5900 lbs...I think the last test I saw listed it at 13.7 in the 1/4, so a tad slower than an E46 M3, but no slouch. Definitely a bit quicker than the 4.8 but it shouldn't leave you for dead.

Just curious, why do you have both an X5 M and a 4.8i?

Nope, but it's performance has made a crying towel a new BMW option for when it hands M3/M5 owners their azzes!

In my opinion, there IS NOT a Nicer Sedan made for the money!

Sorry for the original post hi-jack!
