Exclamation What do you think of this noise?

YouTube - pedal noise

It's a brake pedal noise, sounds like a tick tick but vid's worth a thousand words.

Sounds like it is activating a switch - perhaps brake lights?

Is this a problem for you?!?!?

Simple fix: don't brake when the car isn't running...

Sounds like a solenoid or switch, of which there are several in the area.

Not the brake light, as thats electronically activated separate and apart from the pedal, BUT I COULD BE WRONG ON THIS ISSUE.

If were any other vehicle, I'd agree it was the brake light. But there's a lot of movement before the switch noise is heard. Maybe part of the transmission interlock? Hmmm...

(Remember the brake light comes on if you switch the cruise control to 30 mph. and you're headed down a hill, that would cause the vehicle to roll at 60 mph.- at least on 2010 models)
