Based on the US price guide it seems that the style 214 wheels will not be available for the xDrive50i. Is that the case or have I misread? I cannot say that I am a fan of the style 336s and paying the hefty premium for the style 128s or style 215s seems absurd.
That seems to be the case. You can work something with your dealer. Depending on your relationship with the dealer they can accommodate you with 214 wheels as there is always somebody else who likes style 336 wheels. I am sure there are some members here who will swap the wheels with you.

I suppose it is bundled in the original nappa leather option. Will that also be the case for the 2011?

Thanks for all of the great information that I have been able to find so far!
Check with your dealer. I will not use 2010 X5 configurator at this time.

Side Camera and Deep Ocean Blue "greyed out"

Has anyone been able to order their 2011 X5 with the side camera or with Deep Ocean Blue? My CA told me that they were greyed out in the BMW ordering system.

Thanks!

Lemans thank you for the response to my question above. So I had the x in to the stealer...I mean dealer haha just kidding for a front wheel bearing replacement (warranty covered) and I came across a stunning x5m in silverstone metallic. I have always loved the color particularly on the m3, but this is my first time seeing it on the x. Im in love with it. Can this color be optioned with the M package on a "regular" x or must I pray no one buys this one and I can get it at discount in a couple months?

In the 2010 ordering, you could only order silverstione metallic on the actual M model. There was a similar titanium silver for the M sport pkg, but it was not the same. As I recall, it didn't have the same blueish tint in the sunlight that silverstone has. Probably the same thing for 2011 M-sport pkg.

Silverstone is an M exclusive color, so I don't think it will be available on the 2011 X5. It definitely has a blueish tint...I prefer Titanium Silver over Silverstone.

Shoot! lol I like the blue tint Thanks for the response guys. As I recall this x5m has been at my dealer since it came out... maybe there's a good deal to be had on it shortly.

What were you experiencing that needed a wheel bearing replacement?

A grinding noise coming from the front passenger side. I initially thought it was just my worn tires but after getting new rubbers the noise persisted. Then I began to think bearing. Same thing happened on a chevy equinox I use to have. My dealer put it on the lift and couldn't find anything, then drove it and decided it was a bearing. Replaced in a few hours! Meanwhile I was sitting in the showroom floor x5m pulling the paddles making noises with my lips like vrmmmm.
