I love the front on the sport package....fingers crossed that the pricing does not go too crazy on these new "revamped' packages......Otherwise I guess Ill go fpr the sport activity in black.....it will somewhat match the bumpers....plus Ill be able to afford the other goodies I need like comfort seats...

Too bad the 40d won't make it to NA. I think most people chose the 35d to get better performance than the 3.0 offered while improving on fuel mileage as compared to the 4.8.

It now seems that the performance gain from the 35 (over the 3.0) is what many were waiting for and the fuel consumption penalty isn't that bad as compared to the 35d. I make it to be about 2.6l/100km. Based on a 20,000 km annual mileage (12,000) at Canadian diesel fuel costs, the difference would be about $800/year if fuel prices remain the same.

When diesel fuel starts matching premium in the future, the savings would start to evaporate.

I'm thinking, given the difference in vehicle costs, the 35i might be the better bet. It is simpler, lower cost and is a bit quicker.

WOW - Great posting LeMansX5!

BTW, I'm hoping that "BMW Online" is backwards compatible with the 2010 model.

The new M-sport front end reminds me of the g-power. The foglight position flows MUCH better.
