"The M Sports package also includes special tailpipes for the exhaust system." So, does this mean the M Sport Pack on the 35i will have the larger tailpipes that are on the 50i ?

M-sport 35i will have same trapezoidal tips as xDrive 50i.
50i with M-sport pack will have the ones shown in pics.

Trapezoidal tips are not bigger than ones shown in M-sport pack pics.

When I placed my order for my 2011 X5 35d, there was no option available for Sport on it.
