Officially in the queue
When I asked for clarification, he said he meant that we were in the queue and that we could meet next week to go over everything. Interestingly, according to him, Jet Black isn't yet available. He said we could place the order for Sapphire Black, but I told him I was willing to wait. Will post updates once we meet. Glad I held out and passed up delivery on the XDrive30! |

Same here with My 5.0...no idea what the options pacakges are going to look like for the 5.0 but I figure we will have time to fine tune those in a few weeks based on pricing....Saphire black with cinammon brown interior for me.....m sport pack vs Sport activity decision based on pricing...I really do like the 20 inch rims with the sport activity so may just opt for that just for the rims....

We never discussed a change in our deal, which may come back to bite me, but I've been a loyal customer and have given both sales & service "5's" on every survey I've ever gotten. I am hoping to stick to the $1000 over Invoice we had agreed to on the 2010 we passed on so I only take the hit on loss of Holiday Cash (and probably a worse money factor).

$1K over invoice would be a very good price for a face-lifted new model year right-out-the-door... hope you still get it!

Im in a situation where my previous deal fell through because BMW pulled a program resulting in the dealership not being able to honor the deal they had promised me when I had ordered my 2010 on delivery....being honorable people they promised me their first build 2011 at an impossible price considering it will be one of the first ordered....I can only say they gained a customer and a constant source of referals for life because of the straightforward, honest way they dealt with me......Don't think my pricing will apply to anyone negotiating a 2011.....But can give you the name of the dealership and salesperson if you want an honest, straightforward group of people to deal with...and they usually beat most dealerships if you show them proof of the deal you are getting anywhere else.....

That's what I was told when I declined my 2009 X5 35d in late august... the deal "X over invoice" they offered on the 2009 was nowhere near what they wanted for a 2010.....found another dealer.
