B&R,

It would appear to me and various others that this is an appropriate forum for this subject. Setting up a website, that others can find, is exceedingly difficult and would take many months in order for search engines to register it appropriately unless one were to type in exact search engine words, or if I were to spend a fortune in purchasing google ad words. I see no need to take that step.

What steps I do feel would be helpful, not only to this thread, but to many others contained herein this forum are as follows and with due respect.

-------

What's dismaying is the fact that moderators are not present "to assist" in keeping threads on topic when specific individuals "dirty" a thread.

Be this a fuel pump issue, or an issue caused by Aliens from Mars, it's an issue nonetheless.

This is an X5 forum, and a place to voice such issues and enlist the help of fellow X5 owners.

It would be helpful to all, if more of the threads on this board were moderated. By no means am I suggesting censorship, but when individuals hijack threads with personal attacks, instead of relevant information, the strength of the subject is lost and diluted to the point that devolution takes place, and moderation is required, even if that moderation is in the form of a "please keep on topic warning" as is common etiquette throughout the world of Internet forums.

Devolution is precisely what's happened here. So, with due respect, to the moderators, and to you if you happen to be one, please keep tabs on what's going on with your board so that the owners of vehicles affected by this issue, and other issues, are not having to defend positions that are irrelevant to the topic of their concern and the X5 vehicle in general.

Constructive debate is fine and helpful. Calling someone a liar, in the face of evidenced facts, is absurd. If one wants to confine my comments specifically to this thread, they need only perform a search of this very forum to find far more than 3 or 4 individuals who are experiencing identical issues to the one I am, regardless of the cause.

Implying that this is a subject that would best be posted elsewhere, which is the underlying message of your post is negligent, given your status as a "senior" member of this board.

If we can spend 10-pages discussing battery discharging issues, that only a handful of people are having (of which those individuals were also met with hostility), than we can certainly "stand" to read reports of stalling, brand new, vehicles.

With that said, I digress. This particular thread is beyond help, at this point. To me, and I'm sure to many others, that's a shame.

Enjoy your weekend.
