214's and TPM

I looking at some 214 replicas on Ebay and I wasn't sure how the TPM's work. The ebay seller said just to take them off my stock 18's and put them on the new 20's. Is that ok/possible? Also, hey said frieght from Cali to Denver is about $200. Does that sound right to everyone?

Thanks for your help

as long as the total cost shipped is ~$900 you're doing fine with 214 reps. These are staggered?

TPMS should transfer over without issue.

Check out some of my threads..I just did this I paid $729 for the wheels shipped, and it cost me $100 to have them mounted and balanced with the new tires..they deflated the 18's and pulled the sensors out no issues..I just bought them from "expresswheel" on ebay also Ive driven highway at 80+mph no issues with vibrations or quality..def recommend buying from him!

I want to order from Express also. They are 20 x 9.5 all around for like $550 w/ $200 shipping. I thought $200 was high but not sure.

As far as the TPM's go, how much would new ones cost? I feel that putting the old ones on is too much work for discount tires. I wanted to put 275/45/20 on all around. Any thought in tires? I don't want to waste a fortune on tires because I will only use them for spring/summer.

Is Express Wheel credible?

Yes, he's creditable I've had the wheels on my car for a week no issues, and shipping was quick. The wheels I got were 20x9.5 (et35), and rears 20x10.5 (et40). I thought the rears would sit in too far, but with the 315's they actually line up perfect with the fender flares, and so do the fronts. As far as tires I went with Bridgestones they were only $100 more then the Toyo's at my cost, but you should be able to get a set of Toyo's shipped for $800 then $120 to have them mounted on the new wheels, and remove the sensors from the oem wheels...

I guess this is my last question on this. If I don't put TPM's on, what will it do other that show the warning triangle on my dash. I'm sure once I put the stocks back on durning the winter, it will turn off. Anybody know this?

I ordered 214s and I'm looking at buying TPMS but I'm finding it hard to find the correct size. There's a few sizes 51mm, 41mm, etc.

Does anyone know the right size for me to order? I don't want to swap out the current ones because I want to use them for winter.

TIA

You can order from Bavarian X:

Bavarian Exclusive

They're local to me and I've been to their shop - they're very reputable and do a good job. If you're in doubt about the fit just call them and they'll help you out. Also price is pretty decent.
