I drive 2 cars all the time and I don't have a problem going back to the E70's shift lever. I actually love the way the lever was designed even if it seems gimmicky. When I hit park I can audibly hear it as well as see the dash indicator (out of habit I look before releasing the pedal). Push button start is also great because of comfort access... jump in, hit the brake pedal and start... well worth the $.

I didn't read through any of page 2, so this might have been mentioned there: Simply push the Start/Stop button when you're ready to turn off the car (after you've stopped) and the transmission automatically goes into park. I never shift into park, I just turn the car off and get out.

Auto hold then start/stop button without need to hold down brake. Magic.
