There is a clear matte film now that you can use to make any existing color matte. I have seen a space gray with it and it looks exactly like frozen gray.

I love these wraps. Wish it wasnt so damn expensive. I would wrap my Monaco Blue X with the clear matte film. Never saw that one before.

They are all from FoilACar in Dubai.

I saw a sick white X5 at the mall today. It was white and had the hood, roof, and tailgate as well as the center of the front and rear aero kit wrapped in matte black. it looked very good. I tried getting a pic, but was too slow.

Does that space grey have the mouldings & running boards etc all painted to match? Is it even possible to wrap those parts in vinyl, or just the body? I am still a little confused on how this process works...Is it just like the 3M that's put on the hood for stone chips etc? So you would see where the vinyl is cut off along the edges of all the panels?? And what about door handles etc?

I would think the vinyl scuffs easily just like the 3M. I scuffed mine while washing/drying it and now that mark always bothers me!

Darn you guys shouldn't be posting these pics, now I just might have to get it done! Can you picture a new X5M in matt black!!

Matte black might appeal to lot of folks here, but to me it looks like unfinished paint job
