So far, I've read that Side View is the option delayed until July 2010 production. Haven't heard any problems with Top View availability.

Sheikh36,

I'm just as interested in this as you are. I've emailed my dealer on this because the absence of this on Canadian 2010s is one of the reasons I'm waiting for 2011. If this is the case, I may just get a 2010 with the eextra incentives and guaranteed price (there is no 2011 Canadian price list yet). Can you get your SA to send you the bulletin? If US is affected, I'm sure Canada is too.

Could someone clarify: There are just cameras on the side mirrors, right? There is no actual "top camera", true? So the top view is just a software feature of the data stream from the one set of cameras....

How can it be a 'camera supplier issue' if it only affects a view?

(Apologies if I havent been paying attention...)

There is no top camera because the dides and rear camera simulate it but my understanding is that the DELETE also includes the rear view camera. If this is NOT the case, I'm all ears. Again this is deleted from the Technology Package (in the 2010 Canadian model at least) which is rear view camera with Topview.
