agreed

We'll do less than 5000 miles per year in our X5 35d .. its more about a 'like' than a utility way of getting from A to B different for everyone I suppose ..

Good color choice. Post pics when you get it.

NOT a bad price with 4k miles...Too bad it is Silverstone Metallic...I've attached a screenshot of its options.

I do not get the side/top-view camera's according to this bulletin:

We have been informed by the factory that they are experiencing supplier restrictions regarding options 5DK (Side-view camera) and 5DL (Side and Top View Cameras). These options were included in ZDA (Driver Assistance Package), ZTP (Technology Package) and ZCE (Camera Package).

Now, the $80,275 number does NOT include the eco-credit/BMW CCA credit...But considering that I paid $70,370 for my fully-loaded 2008 X5 3.0si, this price (approx $74k over 2008) is fairly steep, but the goal is to recover that $4k difference in gas...

We spent $1,560 in gas in 2008 (don't drive too much) and averaged about 15 mpg. I expect the average to improve to 21 mpg (40% improvement).

Delivery: On/about four weeks from now...It's ready to go into production any day/hour.

Note attached print out for my 2011 X5 Diesel order...Have since deleted the Rear Entertainment Package after much-waffling. I have it now, on my 08 3.0si and it is bulky, easy to break (kids in car-seats can kick it) and, generally, an eyesore whether it is up or down.

I've (instead) opted for the eggregiously expensive BMW head-rest kit ($2,400 installed) as these will integrate into the headrests and (generally) look nicer and take up less space and be less-prone to being kicked or elbowed.

Australia is not in or even close to Europe...

And if you export something to Europe from NA, you'll pay 15-35% tax on it at the dock, unless its a temporary importation.
