That is showing what the resume speed will be if you choose resume. I guess there has been some updates.

I have HUD on my 2010 35d (Feb delivery) and it shows the cruise control speed for a few seconds after it's engaged. Then it just shows a green cruise control icon. I've often wished it would continue displaying the set speed. If this is the case, I'm going to like this update.
