Window tints and auto dimming mirrors
I was thinking of getting some darker tints with the same look for both front and back but feel concerned about the auto dimming mirrors.
I've noticed at times the side and interior mirror dim a lot depending on the brightness of the lights behind me but in some cases all I see is the outline of things in my rear views when they dim a lot. Would getting darker tints in the front completely render my side mirrors useless if the windows are tinted and the mirror dims a lot? I don't want to lose night visibility in my side and interior mirrors from the auto dimming function compounded by the dark tints. Any opinions or experience with this? |

We have 35% all round, with auto dimming mirrors, there may be a slight ammount of reduction in clarity - but it really isnt a problem IMO.
Cheers,
