Maybe, not ruling out the clear bra, havent looked into it though. I test drove the X6 35i (N54) and it was fine. Didnt test drive a 50i, didnt want to in case I loved it too much. Overall, I wanted to lower current lease cost a bit and by getting the 35i with n55, new 8-speed auto, and M Package (same look as 50i except front grill) sealed the deal.

I understand the implications of turning it in late, just never looked into the early thing.
You can turn your current lease in early however, you would have to pay any lease payments you have left on the current lease. You can have them pull your current car/lease by VIN and give them current mileage and they can try to buy the current car/lease from you and CPO it. If the residual value of your current lease is lower than market value they then may be able to absorb any last payments you have on current lease. This is all hypothetical as Ive never had them absorb any outstanding lease payments of mine in the past. However, my dealer has purchased and CPO'd 2 of my last leases meaning they saw value on buying these and re-selling.

It seems to me dealers DO NOT like to hold on to "SOLD" cars for too long and also like to close the sale as soon as they can.

Maybe there is a way to get out of a lease early that im missing but, this is a first for me as well and I think ive tried everything.

35i zmp pkg

This is exactly what I ordered! I did not know the tailpipes on the 35i came oval. I thought that was only on 50i. Did you special request or did it come with the M pkg? I will be excited if mine comes this way as I was resolved to accept the traditional round pipes. I ordered mine loaded with everything but the nappa dashboard. sideview cameras also available in august I'm told! thx for pics

Looks even better in person! Didnt have access to the interior when I stopped by but, the cinnamon brown and bamboo interior looks great with carbon black. Yes, the oval tips come with the mkit 35i and 50i.

I will miss HUD and Comfort Seats im sure but, came down to things I can live with out although i may be gambling on comfort seats - betting on lumbar support to get me through.

Congrats on your order!

I am surprisingly excited about the tailpipes. Now if only we could get paddle shifters! I sacrificed the gorgeous cinnamon seats for black to get the SAV pkg which I love in my '10 35d.

Well if you are leasing then the clear bra probably isn't that big of a deal. Definitely though get the 2 front windows tinted and put on the 50i titanium kidney grille--IMO that would make it look really sharp.

Yep, good call. Havent seen that many complaints from CA Mkit owners anyways. If I bought the car, probably would clear bra it.

Check on 2 front windows tinted, going to body match paint the front reflectors, and might paint or buy Black Front Grill. Might just leave stock front grill as I think the 35i black slats with faux chrome surround actually works with Mkit front better than the Titanium front grills on Black and Alpine White X5s imo. Titanium works really well with Space Grey and Titanium Silver X5s imo. I would also like to paint the roof rails black but, it seems this is quite a task...
