They're painted the same color as the body. So no reflection and basically a delete as you stated.

Has anyone replaced the front reflectors on their 2011 LCI X5 35d? I have one on order and was wondering how big of a PITA its going to be.....

What if I have side Cameras ? Who makes a reflector that will work ?

I would contact IND (Welcome to INDustry Distribution) and give them your VIN, they should be able to get you the proper sized reflector. There may be others online now but paint match at IND is far superior.

Call or email IND and ask for Nate. They are the best!!! Ordered several painted parts for my E92 M3 recently and they are a perfect match! Packaging of items was FIRST CLASS too! Just ordered reflectors for my new 2011 X5 35d Space Gray Sport/Tobacco. He has them for side-camera and non-side camera models!!

Stupid question time -- do the painted reflectors still...reflect? I don't want some idiot to smash into the side of my car on some street because there were no reflectors (Yeah, that would be a fun conversation with the wife "but honey, these looked much cooler!" LOL)
