Finally got my E70!

Traded in my MINT condition 2002 4.4 X5 w/ 44K on the clock for this MINT condition 2007 4.8 X5...still under factory warranty, CPO warranty and every option except the rear DVD player, and it came with the upgraded rims (325's in the back...talk about W I D E!)

This E70 exceeds the E53 is every category...I still have smile from ear to ear. The only thing I will have to get "used" to is the shifter. I parked it in the garage today and by force of habit moved the shifter forward (thinking it's in "park"), let off the brake to get out and the car started moving backwards (because all the way forward is REVERSE!). Not too sure what I think about this idea, but I'll just have to be cognizant about it.

Looks great! Obviously, those nice 215s did not come from factory on that X5, so you should consider adding the fender flares/arch extenders....

part #51770421056 for the kit. I got mine from Davis Auto Group for $300 shipped.....

Good luck!

Thanks! The rear tire sticks out about 1-2mm right now, so I'll look into the kit. Update: wheel arches ordered...should be here this week and I'll install them Saturday.

Your dogs look the most excited. So, I'm confused you said you don't have the wheel arches so you have the Sport Pack but the original owner didn't have the 20" wheel option apparently ? And what are the specs on the mileage and price you got ?

I have the original window sticker and it shows the Tech, Premium and Sports package with 19" wheels, so apparently the original owner put the 215's on. Mileage is 24K and price was $41K (asking price was $46K).
