I used Lexol for years, if your using it, try Zaino, you will never go back!

Also, get a little leather brush, from swisswax or even just a little shoe leather brush, works wonders with the cleaner getting the dirt out of the grain and seems.

People keep telling me my ride still smells like new leather. Must be the Lexol?

I'm a zaino polish nut...Z2, Z5, etc, etc

but I believe the rest of their products (leather, rubber products, calybar, etc) are simply repackaged OEM products. Their clay is IDENTICAL to the mothers clay....the rubber/plastic is identical to STP rubber and vinyl.

Just saying....

...me too on the ZNut/usage deal. But, I've used their Leather stuff on both the X and Vette, and I think Lexol is better.

Has anyone used the Wolfgang leather care or conditioner? Any feedback on that? I've used their sealant/wax for the exterior. I prefer it to Klasse which is harder to apply and remove.

I guess no one uses the OEM cleaner and care kit? I bought it and have used it sparingly. Seems to do the job.

Yeah, its called lexol!

(OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer...which means the entity that makes the cleaner. I think you meant "OE" or original BMW cleaner.)

I have started using 1z Einszett products since buying the new X5. They have a combined leather cleaner/conditioner. Prior to that I had used Zymol and Lexol products. For new leather I would give the Einszett a slight edge; it seems to leave just as nice a finish on the leather as the other products and the single application step is more convenient. My wife prefers it to the Lexol on her 08 Acura MDX. We tend to keep our seats fairly clean/well maintained, so I don't know how it would fare on heavily soiled leather compared to the separate cleaner/conditioners.

I just used it last night on my leather sofa. I have used it on the X before and it seems fine but no leather aroma.
