lol - everyone has such strong opinions. Mine is that I like it - a lot. But then again, I'm a European driving a European car kitted by European modders.

It's my opinion that the Hamaan looks the best on the X6. Ac Schnitzer looks good too ... for a plane~Jane kinda look. I typically don't like the agressiveness of most body kits, but I like the Hamaan on the X6, and the Lumma on the X5.

As far as who will get it? Well, I've seen a few Americans with Hamaan pieces on thier cars (BMW or other badge vehicles). Really, if anyone likes it and has the cash to throw down on the parts and labor, well, the result is:

The pics are all very entertaining to look at...but I just cannot see myself in ANY of those. Just WAAAY over the top. I would take the under-the-hood engine mods any day, but send all the body kits back. I do like the Hartge one, it's not tacky and sets the proper tone of power and classiness. Context is important too. Perhaps in Abu Dhabi or in Beverly Hills, the Hamaan and AC Schnitzer and G-Power are to be expected and allow one to fit into the tacky masses. But you drive one on the NJ Turnpike or on Route 80, it's synonymous with saying "Hello, my name is dipshit".

Consider your first two sentences. Now think ... JAGUAR.

BMW is being LEFT BEHIND in the looks department. Kia, Mazda, Ford, LandRover, Jaquar, Audi, etc - all of them are upping the anty on design ... while BMW still rolls out blend interiors and exteriors.

You wont find these in Berverly Hills, but you WILL find them all over Dubai, Morrocco, UK, etc. It is a European car modded by Euro modders ... and driven by Europeans after all. ACS is the tamest of the lot. G-Power is the most aggressive in look AND installation (flanging arches, drilling, cutting, etc). ACS looks good on the X6, but not so hot on the X5.

Bottom line always is - do what you like and be happy with what you have. PPls opinions wont matter when ur happy with what you have - stock, OEMs kits, or a high-end European kit. I prefer the high-end European kits ... but then again, I'm European. :-)
You won't find many in the UK - I have NEVER seen a modded X6 and only lightly modded X5s. Nothing as extreme as these.

If I saw one all done up on the roads, I'd certainly give it a nice long look...
