Depends how much you drive the X in the winter... I wouldn't recommend it in the MA snow.

I drove in the snow for the first time of the season on thanksgiving weekend. They weren't absolutely perfect, but they did about 1000x better than the michelin 18" RFT's that came on the car originally. I took this photo after the roads were plowed. However, the night before this photo was taken there were about 2-3 inches on the roads and the tires did fine. Obviously a dedicated snow tire would do better, but i'm super happy with these.
