Did you already get it done??? If so, I am totally annoyed that I helped.

It doesn't really matter if you failure was the first ever on the planet, or they fail every day....

Hi guys, sorry to resurrect an old thread but I would rather not start a new one talking about the same thing. Anyway, Im about to be a newbie in the E70 forum (but an oldy in the E53) and before I finally purchase the E70, I ran a OBDii fault code reader (TORQUE - Android app with bluetooth OBDii). Came accross this fault code...

Did a little research and yes my error code P1447: is a Diagnostic Module Tank Leakage DM-TL (Pump Too High During Switching).

My concerns and inquiries are very simple:

1. Is this theright part for this particular error / fault code part number - 16137193479
New BMW Leak Diagnosis Pump 16 13 7 193 479 | eBay

2. Did you finally correct your fault code / check engine?

Many TIAs! Cheers!

I would start at the gas cap because it is inexpensive to replace.

However, if the pump had failed, or is failing, I suggest getting a new one.
My new LDP came from the BMW dealer and cost me about $150.00.
You will also need plastic rivets and a clamp, an additional $20.00.

Here is the write up on the replacement.
