I tried a billion different combos on my E92. I agree with you Deutsch, the GP's are the way to go. The drawback is as they get old they fade. Just count on switching them out once a year. But hey, that's a small price to pay for the results. I don't care about price. But I am putting the same GP's on my X5 this week.

Kloogy! Yep, GP Thunders are pretty great. Switch them out once a year?? In my 750, they would burn out every like 2000-3000 miles, and in the M6, they last around 5000 miles. Still, for the price..I do not mind. I checked in the garage, and we have a backstock of 6 bulbs (H8 7500k).

When I traded my 2010 750i for my X5 last week, I had about 8500 miles on the 7, and I had used 3 sets of GP Thunder. So, I guess I do not need to worry about the fading as they age!! LOL

I hear you. I used to keep a spare set in my garage. I just ordered a couple of more. I have yet to see a set of 300 dollar angel eyes that look good in the sun

Here's mine with the GP Thunders. I've had these on my 535 for 3 years. Still looks great.

3 years? My GP thunders never last more than like 3000 or 4000 miles. But they are very inexpensive and easy to change!

I had the gp thunders in for a while, I wasn't satisfied. I recently got the lux LEDs, the are waaaay better and brighter... A world apart from the GP's. Yea they weren't cheap, but they are most def as close to oem... And they actually compete with other car manufacturer LEDs you see on the road. Sooo glad I upgraded, I get so many double takes on my ride now... Not that I get off on that stuff or anything :-P lol

^ I'm going on a couple years so far, but I don't take it out for long each time.
