Potential 2007-2008 X5 4.8 purchase

The car is about 250 miles away. Am trying to coordinate and take a look this week. The person says she has had lots of offers online without anyone seeing the car which I am unable to do. Am trying to coordinate financing before I look at it so I can literally come back the next day if it checks out.

Just refinanced my house and had to close my credit line and am in the process of opening it back up and have been having issues as they are much more diligent in the checklist and when I got my home loan 7 yrs ago the loan was sold and the first loan company went out of business and the name if it is still on record with the county as PNC bank wont approve me till I correct this.

What a pain in the rear. Am now looking at other options to buy as I am a member of a credit union and will try to go that route.

My sport package has the OEM 21"... Tires are summer spec. and have lasted now 15K probbaly another 5K and a replacement will be required.

I did not know they made 21" OEM rims. Love them as I can see your profile picture. What type of tires are you running and will you buy the same ones?

I think they are Michelan Pilot... Can't remember.

It is a really good price but I just checked with BMW and to extend the maintenance 2 more years it would run $2095 and to extend the warranty another 2 years would be about $2300 so close to $4500 which would bring that car really close to what a CPO BMW cost at the dealership. CPO cars right now come with that additional 2 yrs and a long warranty as well.

Decisions to make.
