The wood is GORGEOUS. I thought the bamboo looked good in my '11 35d. Now I kind of hate my wood, after seeing your wood!!!!! Ughh, that just does not sound right, does it? LOL

hello, just curious; do you pay a "premium" in addition to the above fees? i.e. are you paying more "above invoice" than you might otherwise have paid?

No premium at all. 1K over invoice only. I have a long history with my dealership and they are fanastic!

Thanks! I wonder if it's possible to special order an e70 non-M x5 in LeMans Blue or Imola Red? & if so, how much it would cost?

blue dragon will become famous soon enough
I also see the Nappa leather dash. Whats the rightmost button for on the stack just above the cup holders? I only have 4, the last one being to pop the trunk, I see you have 5?

side view camera. imo, it can be useful in limited circumstances but since it was only $300 it wasn't that bad in the scheme of things.

The Side-view Cameras are what the fifth button at the right end of the stack operates. I have them, but have a hard time getting any distance perspective about what they are seeing. They just give you a head's up when peeking around a corner. Nice goo-gah though.

I don't think that's a standard wood for the X5. Looks like the "Red brown grained wood trim" from the X5M/X6M. Very nice looking!

You've also got the sideview cameras, which aren't on the configurator but is something folks have been able to order if they know to ask.

Odd that the X5M red brown wood is a different option code than the BMW Individual Wood option.

The red brown wood is option 4MU
The Individual wood is XE3

It is quite nice I must admit. Many positive comments on it.
