Agreed - it's the tire size not the spacers. I have 315's and 25mm spacers and take it through the wash when I can't do it myself. It just fits. You could get a tape and measure the inside width of the car wash track and see how it matches the sidewall to sidewall measurement.

I got a pair of big blue dishwashing gloves for washing in cold weather. Dry hands. I refuse to do it myself if it gets below 35 or 40 though.

I purchased a set of black rubber gloves from the hardware store - lined so they are easy to get on and off. Thicker than dishwashing gloves and they come way up over the cuff of your coat. Hands stay warm and dry - these are what I use when the temp is above freezing but below 45 or so. They work great.

Just not worth my time and frustration. Run it thru the wash and take it to a detailer 2x a year.

Besides, I live in Wisconsin. Below 45 degrees is 9 months of the year.

I love people who chastise others for taking their car to the car wash. Sorry. I have a life and a career. I don't have time to invest into washing my own vehicle. I have been going to the same car wash for 15 years. They use the best products and wash all my vehicles by hand. Find yourself a good place. You can usually tell by the types of cars you see being washed there.

Amen. If I am not working, I am with my family. If I am not with my family, I am racing or thinking about racing. I would love to hand wash my car just hasn't made it to the top of my to do list.

A bunch of years ago, had a 911 that I drove every day. Used to run it thru the wash 2x a week. You would have thought I was clubbing baby seals on the weekend.
