Oops, yeah Bluewater Metallic. Sorry. I have never liked a colour more than this. Only offered on the X3 and X6 Hybrid though. I think it would look awesome on the X5, especially with 214s and Sport Pkg!!

You have good taste!

I would have special ordered it for my X5 but it would be weird to have two of the same colors on the driveway.

I forgot it is offered on the 3 Series as well. It is THE BEST colour BMW has ever made. More interesting than just silver and the shade of icy blue is perfect. My dealer told me they cannot special order an X5 in Bluewater Metallic, since it is not even a colour ever offered on the X5

I've only had my X5 for a few weeks now, but my experience is a bit different from those listed above. I had no mudflaps for 2 weeks, and have now had mudflaps for a couple weeks...I would say that they do cut down significantly on salt/road grime buildup on the rear window.

I had asked before, but got no reply. If the mud flaps don't work due to the turbulence, does the aero kit help with reducing the low pressure area?

I can't see how it would do so. The aero kit is primarily a style kit IMO, but what real aprons/diffusers/etc are designed to do is to aid downforce and manage airflow under the body of the vehicle, they won't impact the low pressure zone behind the vehicle. That is simply a function of the X5 being shaped like a brick, and it would take a streamliner tail section to change it.

Pretty sure Blue Water was offered on the E39. Great color, always thought it would look smashing with the dark blue leather that was a Priority One option on the E60 (forget the name). I actually saw a E39 M5 that was blue water over black, and it was easily one of the 5 most stunning BMW's I've ever seen.

The Silverstone II has a similar effect, though the blue tint is even more subtle.
