better to be safe than sorry.. RFT's on 135i cost almost $500 on a single tire! luckily i have wheel and tire package. think of 20" X5 RFT's cost...
plus when my tire got damaged, im on I-84. its awesome that i drove still 86miles going home in the middle of the night.

didn't get it on my X5 but i have 19s. two days after i switched to NRFT Toyos i picked up a nail. $250 and done.
wife's 328i has low profile 17s, she blew out a sidewall on a RFT. don't ask, i don't know how.  thankfully i bought the warranty on her car. i suspect before the warranty runs out i will use it again.
