^^ 08gray... you need to understand the OPs position and context to realize what was going on.

She brough an absilute dog with issues when they handed her the keys- stuff starteed going wrong, then the dealer decided to 'make good'. So they maybe tossed her a new windshield... but this is not a "yeah, CPO covers damage" situation...it was a "we should never have passed the car on the CPO inspection.

YOU will not get BMW to replace windshields for ANY chip. (not sure how you can prove a chip is a factory defect)

No, the chips were just missed during the CPO inspection.

I ended up returning the X5 for a full refund.

I haven't seen my X5 since February 5th so I would consider your 5 day loaner a easy break. haha
