My first BMW
I searched and I can't find the answer, maybe i'm searching wrong. So my problems is when I'm coasting to a stop at any speed. I feel the car shifting and it would slow down a lot. (Ex. I would be coasting at 30mph going down to about 20mph, then I would feel a slight shift/jerk and it slows down a lot more) Another thing is when I'm at a complete stop and I release the brakes, the car would jerk forward violently, not all the time, like 50/50. Another thing is when I'm reversing and turning, I hear like creaking sounds from the back. I'm not sure if that is normal. Everything else is fine, I love the car! I got it for 36k including 5 years of paintless dent repair. I got it with 39k miles on it though with prem. tech. cold. rear climate. ipod. |

The jerking when releasing brakes happened to me a lot until I had them do a firmware update - this was at least 2 years ago. I'm not sure when yours was last updated, but mention this to them and you should get the latest and greatest fixes.

Thanks RH, I made an appointment with BMW and hope that gets fixed. It's pretty annoying when it does happen. I like your AW X5, It was between that or the silver one I got. But it was also 3k more.
