Correct. The exhaust tips will work on any X5 up through 2010.

I can see you have not been anywhere near a modern BMW Diesel then. 'Tractor-like' performance and sound is a thing long past with BMWs and most high performance diesel engines. The rattle is a thing found at the 'utility' end of the market....
