I have an LED in my glovebox. I can plug and unplug it a million times and it won't blow the fuse.

Seems like you guys are buying the cheap $5 peanut-size ones. Get the one where it's the whole assembly/housing (same type as the door courtesy lights).

Guys, you just saved my day with the pic of the glove box fuse. I had blown it when I attempted to change to an LED. So, I went ahead and put it in anyway. Now that Ive changed the fuse, the LED is still working properly. Ive opened the glove box about 30 times just to make sure.

No biggie though, if it pops, I will replace it with one of the stock halogen ones and replace the fuse again since I know exactly where it is now!!

Hense BMW changed this design in the F15, Never could understand why they needed all this extra stuff for a simple feature.

I have the same problem on my 2013 X5 35i Xdrive glove compartment. I started replacing all the interior lights with LED's and the glove box light was the last one when it happen! I did some digging and found out about a fuse that you can replace it yourself for under $6.00 (5 pack)! The fuse is 10A "minis. This is the site,
