I noticed that driving the car home from the dealer for the first time (before reading the manual). In seing only one fog light on, I thought I had a bulb out on the other.

Yes I realize. I saw a Q7 the other day which didn't have this happen. The LEDs both stayed on while the turn signal was on - but the LEDs were not as prominent though... I think it was just 1 row of lights instead of wrapping around the headlamp.

Anyway, I think it's a terrible design if they have to resort to flipping one side off and leave a small dinky yellow light. I wish I had a pic of it.

Yea the older one line style does not turn off. The new ones that are on top and the bottom are the ones that turn off
